Changing Currency

Don’t let the banks, or PayPal take you for a a ride… If you knew how much money these guys make from you with their spreads then you wouldn’t want to use them again.   So it pays to make a transfer with someone who has really narrow spreads. Someone like Currency Online

I have started using these because they provide the best service and rates I have come across in my research when comparing against other competitors.  Forget your banks, and Travelx etc this is the way forward. It’s really simple, once your account is set up all you do is:

  1. Enter the amount you want to buy/sell and in which currencies to/from
  2. Lock in the rate that makes you comfortable – (They update every 5 seconds)
  3. Say where you want the monies deposited.
  4. As soon as the money you are transferring has reached the account as per instructed, the exchange is automatically made to the beneficiary at your agreed rate.

TOP TIP
If you are into your technical analysis then take advantage of this and watch you charts to see if it’s worth hanging on a few hours or days to take advantage of any up trends that may be in place. I deferred my transaction a few days once and it got me a couple of hundred dollars more.

I have become an affiliate of theirs, hence promoting the currency converter. I wouldn’t promote anything that I didn’t know about. So have a play and see how it compares to others out there.  If you come across better rates anywhere else then I’d very much like to know – go to the Contacts page and I’ll see if I can pull a few strings.

Once an account is set-up, you’re ready to rock’n'roll and do your own cash transfers.

For larger transaction of $10k+ I have another provider I can give you upon request.
