Hi, this is all about me, the story of  Mark Nicholson

Thank you for visiting my site.  I hope you will find it full of resources and educational content.

Just briefly, I am 35 years of age and the Managing Director of Progressive Investing Limited that for the purpose for this site is trading as Progressive Income Solutions.  Progressive Investing Limited is the company under which I use to transact most of my investment strategies.  Previous to this I was involved in the construction industry, specifically within the travel and tourism sectors most of my life. I recently resigned from my job in March 08 as National Projects Manager in New Zealand for a multi-million dollar Australian and New Zealand based backpacker organisation.  Why? I wanted to venture on my own journey to achieve my own personal success. Even though I loved my job I was fed up knowing the fruits off my labour were effectively rewarding somebody else; i.e. the directors.  I saw myself as a slave to the corporates of this world and wondered why the time I got up five days a week had to be dictated by someone else. So here I want to share with you the resources and various investing strategies I enjoy using that keeps me out of the workforce.

For me, it’s about “Personal Success” and being able to achieve my goals.  After a very empowering couple days with one of my first mentors, I was soon inspired to change my daily routine of bed work, bed work, bed work, for the benefit of others. Believe me… I have done my fair share of courses and spent literally thousands of my hard earned cash to educate myself on various alternative forms of income, and even throwing a lot of it away into stupid things too.

This website is an example of my determination.  Having no idea how to construct a website, (and still no idea I hear you cry) it’s all about teaching ones self and reaching ones goals. It’s not the best in the world but it’s a goal I can achieve and effectively something I can be proud of which is all that matters to me.
