Hi,
Well this is my first blogg as I’ve spent the last two weeks learning the intricacies of blogg building and teaching myself how to use WordPress.
It would be great to hear of any comments. Good or bad… preferably the bad ones (but backed up with the good ones)
For anyone else trying to get their head around WordPress, I cannot recommend this template enough. It’s called Suffusion. Out of the dozens of templates I have used this is enormously customisable and the developer is not only updating it all the time, he offers support and a forum. I.am glad I found this template otherwise I’d be here all year tearing my hair out.
The use of this template is absolutely free. Just do the search for Suffusion from the “add theme’s” menu.

Hi,
I just installed this theme on my blog and found your site on the support forum, im just trying to figure out what i can do with it and just wanted to say that your site looks great! I hope you dont mind me poking around in here. Im trying to get the hang of the layout options and you have done a fantastic job.

Hi Lian, Thanks for that. I do have to say without Sayonton’s dedication with this theme I would be up the proverbial creek without a paddle. I had to learn wordpress myself with the help of Google for the many 10’s of questions I needed to find. Not only this but any question I asked on the support forum was always responded to by Sayontons very quickly, so this theme and its support is pretty unique.
One thing I would say though, is that when an upgrade to the theme is released, that any personal customisations to the code may be lost. I don’t know to what customisations they relate to, I think there are manual additions / admissions to the code.
The code on this site hasn’t been modified other than via all the options so I believe this is why when upgrading there is no problem.
I am not an expert but feel free to drop me a note if you want to know how I have done anything.
Cheers
Mark
