Where do you get information on the nuts and bolts of Technical analysis and how to interpret the charts.,
I started trading CFDs late last year and made money making decisons based on what I had learned from some formal training and using RSI , Stochastic and candles . Made a bad trade and now have no confidence the tools I used previously . They no longer provide me with the confidence to make a trade and so need to investigate others tools and find out how to use them and in what combinations
Hi Steven, sorry for the late reply I’ve only just seen your comment.
It sounds like you need to concentrate on a bit of back testing and monitoring. Many people think that they can do a course, find a few indicators and go and earn a wad load of cash. There is no holy grail. I certainly believe that a lot of (lets say tutors) earn more money from teaching these sorts of strategies than from actually trading them themselves.
For confidence is trading using Technical Analysis I think you ought to take a look at Barry Burn’s FREE Rubber Band trading system. Rather than take you straight to his page, here is a link to another one one my posts discussing Barry’s product. Barry Burns – Top Dog Trading. He only uses a standard set of indicators and you’ll find it helpful to see how you can relate to the charts as they are used in successful trades.
Also take a look in the free downloads (just fill in your details to the right) you’l find various resources for Technical Analysis. I am about to add some more on TA in a few days or so. Also Stephen, if you fill in the form I can let let you know when they have been up loaded.
